Why choose the 4x4 Pick-up Camper?
The Pick-up Camper combines automatic transmission with an onboard living unit. The listed equipment includes a queen-size bed, a convertible single bed, stove, fridge, toilet, shower, hot water and diesel heating.
This is a useful option to compare if an onboard bathroom and indoor living facilities are important to your trip. Confirm that the bed arrangement works for your group; do not assume the number of passenger seats is the number of sleeping places.
Check the camping setup, not just the car
For the Duster and Korando camping-equipped vehicles, check the individual equipment list rather than expecting the same facilities as the Pick-up Camper. Before reserving, confirm the sleeping arrangement, bedding, cooking equipment and any items you need to bring yourself.
- How many people need a bed, and what bed sizes suit them?
- Do you need your own toilet and shower, or will you use campsite facilities?
- How much luggage must fit while you are driving and while the beds are in use?
- Are you comfortable using the vehicle and its camping equipment?
Plan your overnight stops
Build your journey around suitable campsites and check their opening dates and facilities. Having a camper does not mean you can park and sleep wherever you like. Check the rules and permissions for every overnight stop.

A 4x4 camper still has route restrictions
Share your planned route with us before booking. Not every 4x4 vehicle is suitable for every Highland road, and river crossings create separate risks. Vehicle permission and road conditions must both be checked; do not rely on a map route alone.

Do all your 4x4 campers have a shower?
The Pick-up Camper listing includes a shower and toilet. Do not assume these are included in the camping-equipped SUVs; check the specific vehicle details.
Can I collect a camper for a late flight?
We provide 24/7 pickup and drop-off service at KEF. Arrange the timing with your reservation and allow time for the vehicle and equipment handover.
What if I need more indoor space or more beds?
Compare our motorhomes for 3, 4 and 6, and check both the sleeping layout and passenger capacity.
